Black Fox, starring Christopher Reeve and Tony Todd, tells the story of two "blood" brothers, Alan and Britt Johnson - one a former plantation owner, the other his childhood friend whom he freed from slavery - who, with their families, leave Carolina to settle in Texas in the 1860s in hopes of finding a new life.

Alan and Britt Johnson, along with other pioneer families, are homesteading on the West Texas frontier. With the outbreak of the Civil War, word arrives that two Indian tribes, the Comanches and the Kiowas, have joined forces under the leadership of Little Buffalo, whose goal is to drive the white man out of Texas. In a surprise raid, while the men are away making preparations to defend their homes, the Indians attack, taking hostage every woman and child they can find.

While not all the settlers agree, it is decided that because he is black, Britt will have the best chance to negotiate with the Indians for the return of their families and he takes off, alone, for a journey deep into hostile Indian territory. His courage and honesty lead Lone Wolf, the Kiowa chief, to name Britt "Black Fox." But will his courage and honesty be enough to bring the women and children home?

BLACK FOX II: PRICE OF PEACE
Following Britt Johnson's courageous rescue of the women and children of their settlement who had been taken hostage by a group of Indians, one woman, Delores Holtz (Cindy Preston), decides to stay with a Kiowa native, Running Dog (Raoul Trujillo), with whom she has fallen in love. Her racist, abusive husband, Ralph (Chris Wiggins), blames Britt for the situation and organizes a hunting party of vigilantes to accompany him into Indian territory to recapture her. Britt tries to convince the townspeople that such action would incite an uprising but is unsuccessful at gaining even Alan's support.

The encounter between Running Dog and Holtz is inevitable, and the two adversaries meet in a fight in which only one of them survives!

BLACK FOX III: GOOD MEN AND BAD
Britt is attacked by a group of bigots, led by Carl Glenn whom he ably defeats. Angry at being bested by a black man, Glenn seeks revenge and that night visits the Johnson homestead. After Alan goes outside to investigate a noise, his wife, Sarah, hearing the sound of a gunshot, grabs a pistol, opens the door of their cabin and calls to her husband. Glenn, seeing only the glint of her weapon, fires, and in a terrible instant Sarah is dead.

As a result, Alan descends into a state of alcoholic despair. Later, with grim resolutions, he decides to trail Glenn and avenge Sarah's death. Meanwhile, Britt becomes a U.S. Marshal and leaves his family to find Alan, an odyssey that leads both men into the untamed Kansas plains and to a battle in which justice will ultimately prevail.
