Deathstalker III: The Warriors from Hell Review

OK if your familiar with the Deathstalker movies you know what to expect. Now then this movie is quite good for the fact that although there is magic this is the only Deathstalker movie that does not have wolf-headed or orc monsters in it. Just midieval men fighting to the death. John Allen Nelsons' Deathstalker is more positive and charasmatic then the almost evil Rick Hill (who was and will always be the original Stalker). Tounge and Cheek of course but what kind a movie would it be if it wasn't.There is a problem with one seen however. When Deathstalker escapes from the potatoe farm the video got all scrambled like when you try to watch a premium movie channel on cable that you cant get. Thinking that there was something wrong with my tape I sent it back got a new one and the same thing happened on the same spot. Another funny thing is Boris (the man who was hired to draw the poster for the movie) drew a picture of Rick Hill (star of Deathstalker 1&2)instead of John Nelson. Oh well these can be looked over if your in the mood to watch a fun midieval movie with violence (and yet not a drop of blood)and nudity

I would always try and earn or get 25 cents for the saturday matinees in the early 1950's, and all my life since a small boy I loved good stories...books and on film.
The western genre always held something special for me and I can find something in every one I think, always some actor, story line, scenery, music, etc, that held me and to this day I love many of the older movies ...and especially the Rocky Lane movies. In the short space to comment here I can only say that he was one of the finest actors and like some other actors that seem to just have to appear on the screen and they always offer so much in their talent and appearance, they remain a favorite forever. They are "naturals," like Spencer Tracy, Redford, Tom Selleck, Jim Garner, Kirk Douglas and Henry Fonda.
I am so glad I got this DVD set of 81 (approx. 60 minute movies) of Allan Rocky Lane playing Red Ryder for 8 movies, all the others in here are his adult type westerns from the '40's up to 1953. Few know that Allan Lane was the voice of "Mr. Ed," the successful talking horse comedy from 1960-1966. Rocky Lane died in 1973 of cancer at only 64 yr old and saddened even to this day all of his fans who wanted him to do something more on the silver screen, to see and hear that talented, rugged, handsome cowboy with talent like none of the others had. His person, the man himself, is another good story as well.

This movie is one Yolanda's greatest performance. It's about twins whoms father, an acoholic and a run-around, left since birth and took the only brother of the twins, leaving the mother to raise the twins on her own and never again to see her only son. As the twins grow up, resulted from a fire set to thier apartment, one twin loses her sight and thier mother dies from a fall. To make a long story short, The one twin who has no sight regains it by running into a man who she falls in love and turns out to be her estranged brother, but she doesn't know till it's all over. Well you will have to see the movie to find out what happens. Ha Ha!! The song tells most of the story.
