Wycliffe Complete Collection Review

The "Wycliffe" collection (5 series) presents a different approach to English cop shows. The setting is usually rural, the characters are believable, and the scrips excellent. There's not a lot of violence shown (although murder is violent), just the result. The detectives move through each investigation to determine the guilty, but their approach is not "big city", but rather in a methodical manner. The actors are good and likable. Their personal lives are there but not really explored. Each show (approximately 50 minutes each) comes to its conclusion, and for me, the next one is waiting. You shouldn't be disappointed with this series.
