Despite some shortcomings that include a slow start and some bad special effects, Halloween Night is a decent Halloween-themed slasher flick. It's got that Halloween spirit, some good gore, and an old-fashioned feel to it that sets it apart from most of the slasher movies that come out these days. And I liked the killer scarecrow concept. Halloween Night won't make you forget John Carpenter's Halloween. Heck, it won't even make you forget Rob Zombie's Halloween. Still, I've seen much worse. And I'm sure you have too.
